Choose Room feature explained

During mobile check-in, the guest can choose a room within the booked room category. They can even select a room from a map view of the hotel floor-plan. If the guest gets the assigned room upon arrival the fee will be added to the hotel invoice.

The hotels decides the guest fee for the Choose Room service. Across hotels we've seen prices from €5 to €20 depending on the room price. The latest study on the topic suggest that 7-10% of room price is what guest would pay for the ability to choose the exact room of choice.

    Yes. The unique Choose Room feature is optional for hotels. We highly recommend it as guests demand it.

  • How do I create revenue with Choose Room?

    As a hotel you set a fix fee per room category. We recommend around 7% of the room price. We split the fee 80/20 in favour of the hotel.

  • How can I optimze Choose Room revenue?

    Tag your rooms with individual features in you PMS or AeroGuest Flow. Ex.: Far from elevator, View of the streets, Near fire escape, Big round windows, - the list goes on.

  • Changing PMS?

    Make sure that your choice of PMS can integrate with next level mobile technology. Otherwise you’ll not be able to offer Choose Room and attract the guest of the future.
